Standard procedure of a bathroom renovation:

• - Laying down drop clothes along the path leading to the bathroom


• - Covering doorways if needed and plug vents to prevent dust


• - Quick scanning of the bathroom and making mental notes what needs to be removed


• - Start by disconnecting toilet and vanity


• - Remove existing tiles from wall, then disconnect shower faucet


• - Remove bathtub or shower tray


• - Take up existing floor covering


• - Remove towel bars, paper holders, mirror, light fixture, etc.


• - Prep plumbing for new bathtub or shower tray and for new shower faucet (including replacement of old pipes with new if needed)


• - Prep pluming for new vanity if needed


• - Install new bathtub or shower tray including new shower valve rough-in


• - Install new moisture proof boards in shower area and niche in wall if requested


• - Install waterproofing membrane in shower area


• - Install new tiles on bathtub/shower walls and in niche if there’s any


• - Install uncoupling membrane on floor


• - Install new tiles on floor and tile base on wall if requested


• - Grout and silicone tiles


• - We also install electric heated floor


• - Prep walls (mud, tape, sand) for new paint


• - Paint walls and ceiling


• - Install new vanity with top and faucet


• - Install new toilet


• - Install new shower door if needed


• - Install light fixture, mirror, towel bars, paper holder, etc.


• - Inspect job, check everything works


• - Final clean up


• - Done and enjoy!
